2025 National Industrial Software Conference Held in Ningbo: Focusing on Automation Innovation to Empower High-Quality Industrial Development

On September 27, 2025, the 2025 National Industrial Software Conference, hosted by the Chinese Association of Automation, was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. With the theme of "Intelligence Drives New Quality", the conference attracted nearly 1,000 representatives from universities, research institutes and industrial sectors. All participants focused on cutting-edge automation technologies and actual industrial needs, jointly discussing the independent innovation path of industrial software and the development direction of industrialization, and building consensus for the development of the industry.
At the conference, theChina Automation Technology Development ReportandChina Automation Industry Development Reportwere officially released. Among them, theChina Automation Technology Development Reportcomprehensively demonstrates the core strength of automation technology, focusing on 23 key directions in three core fields: industrial process automation, equipment automation, and common key technologies. It in-depth analyzes the current development status of the industry and points out the direction for future technological breakthroughs; theChina Automation Industry Development Reportanalyzes the automation core product ecosystem from an all-dimensional perspective, aiming to provide support for the intelligent transformation of key industries in the national economy and promote innovative breakthroughs in the field of equipment automation.
Notably, China's first "Zhiye Large Model" for the non-ferrous metal smelting industry was also released at the conference. This large model enables artificial intelligence to accurately understand industrial language, master professional metallurgical thinking, and precisely control the entire production chain. It has successfully created a new paradigm of embodied intelligent control industrial application for large models, moving from "dialogue interaction" to "practical application", and providing a new solution for the intelligent upgrading of the industry.
The conference also specially set up an industrial software achievement exhibition area, which concentrated on displaying a number of high-level industrial software products and technical solutions independently developed in China. It intuitively demonstrated the key role of industrial software in driving the digital transformation of manufacturing industry and empowering the high-quality development of the industry, allowing participants to clearly see the technological innovation achievements and application value of the industry.
In terms of academic and strategic exchanges, the conference invited 6 academicians to deliver keynote reports and organized a high-level dialogue, providing high-dimensional strategic guidance for participating enterprises, researchers and industry practitioners, helping all parties break through development bottlenecks and clarify the direction of progress. In addition, focusing on the application needs of industrial software in the entire production cycle including R&D and design, production and manufacturing, operation and maintenance services, the conference also set up 11 parallel meetings.
